Norbert Hirschhorn commended in Hippocrates Prize

hippocrates_prize_logo_medMember Norbert Hirschhorn’s poem Even If He Can’t Answer Maybe He Can Hear You’ has been commended in the Hippocrates Prize for Poetry and Medicine. The prestigious annual competition was judged this year by poet Rebecca Goss, author and doctor Theodore Dalrymple and psychiatrist Femi Oyebode, and attracted entries from over 30 countries. Norbert will read his poem at an awards ceremony in London on 22nd May, when the winner will be announced. You can read more about the shortlisted and commended entrants on the competition website.

Paul Stephenson one of the Aldeburgh Eight

Beginning in November, he will attend an immersive three days at the international Aldeburgh Poetry Festival, immediately followed by an intensive five-day rural retreat along with seven other highly talented poets early in their publishing careers.
