We are delighted to know she will continue to be affiliated with the group in future years, even while she is busy with a great many other literary projects. U.S. publishing deal for Miriam Halahmy

HiddenMiriam Halahmy has a two book deal with U.S. publisher Holiday House Books for her novel HIDDEN, about two teens who save a drowning asylum seeker and for BEHIND CLOSED DOORS which deals with teenage homelessness.

Mary Cash, editor-in-chief said, “Miriam’s writing speaks directly and urgently to young people about subjects which matter to them and the world. We are delighted to welcome her to Holiday House.”

 

Publishing success for Miriam Halahmy and Anna Meryt

Two Highgate Poets are celebrating publishing success with new prose books.     Miriam Halahmy has confirmed a publishing contract with Alma Books for her new children’s novel, The Emergency Zoo, due out May 2016.

Meanwhile, Anna Meryt has published her memoir, A Hippopotamus at the Table.
